Chidori Designs - About the Owner
Chidori Designs was created by Adele Bosman, a young dynamic Designer.
She studied Graphic and Web Design in Belleville, South Africa after she finished school.
"When I was in school I wanted to be many things, but when the time came to decide I was hopeless. I went on one of those school career day trips and I walked and walked through all the different College Stands, but to no avail. In a corner a stand caught my eye, it was vibrant and alive. After speaking to the staff I knew that this is what I want to do. I want to Design. I want to create! I took the course and haven't regretted it once! "
First she started as a freelance designer under the wing of her friend that owned an IT business, Landmate Technologies. She named her Small business Landmate Designs.
At that time Adele only did some freelance designs, while helping with the admin at Landmate Technologies. With time she gained the experience and confidence to break away and fly on her own.
When she decided to do this, she decided on the name Chidori Designs and made her dream come true.
Chidori is a Japanese bird, therefore the slogan, "spread your wings and fly". That is how Adele sees her designs, free to be inspired.
Being a Graphic and Web Designer herself, she loves to "create" things. And nothing is stopping her to do just that. In every aspect of her life she likes to express herself by ways of drawing or making about anything she can lay her hands on. For a peak follow this link.
Adele strongly believes that if you have something that you can share with others, why not share it? And for that reason she has also spread her wings to the classroom and started to teach Graphic History and Microsoft Components (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Internet, Outlook)at a local College in 2008. Although it was not all Design related it was an experience that she would not give up for anything.
Chidori Designs is growing from strength to strength and at the age of 25, she has built up a portfolio of note.
